Languages Work

As employers increasingly recognise the value of staff who have the skills and flexibility to work in international environments, it is important that young people understand the benefits of having a language among their portfolio of skills.

CILT, the National Centre for Languages, has established Languages Work as the national information resource for careers with languages.

Aiming to provide careers advisers with information and practical tools to guide young people through their education and career choices, and help them make decisions about language learning in relation to their future lives. There is a brand new website and free resources to support careers professionals proving guidance to young people in this complex field. www.languageswork.org.uk
