Aimed at providing key career professionals from schools, colleges, universities and government agencies with the latest up-to-date information about career routes and opportunities in a friendly, informal, informative event.Demand for top quality career guidance is essential in a downturn as opportunities become harder to find and the available working population increases. Now more than ever career guidance is an essential part of educational development and career professionals need to have the knowledge and access to the biggest possible framework of career opportunities.
Good career advice is a lifelong necessity. No longer is anyone guaranteed a job for life, getting a good initial education and following a simple career path is not an option for most young people today. In a changing world, expert career guidance offers many students hope, increases confidence and gives them a better chance of finding satisfying employment and improved earnings, job opportunities and lifestyle for the whole of their lives.

The National Career Guidance Show will bring everyone together to create a best practice networking opportunity.
This prestigious event is being organized by Prospects Events with the Institute of Career Guidance. The partnership brings together two of the leading institutions in the industry today. Over 4,000 members of the Institute of Career Guidance will be invited to attend the National Career Guidance Show from across the UK. Professionals will be drawn from a range of roles including career advisers, teachers and practitioners within the professional career guidance sector including Connexions PAs, learning mentors, JobCentre Plus advisers, and in recruitment and employment agencies working with both the adult and young people sectors.
